Why Hindi can't be our National Language ?

Linguistic Map of India

Hindi, Most of the people are in confusion that Hindi is our National Language and Many Still demand for making this our national language but Looking at our diversity, Pluralism and Democratic Values, It will be a bad Idea of making one Language, Group, Religion, Culture or anything our National Language, Group, Religion etc of India. When india adopted Democracy, Many World Leaders and Political Thinkers were in Dilemma that if india would survive or not as an Integrated country of several Ethnicity, Religions, Linguistic Groups and Culture. Many Argued that This country will be broken into fragmented pieces due to its diverse nature or Many Said that India is World's Most Diverse Region on the Cultural and Linguistic Grounds and It cannot survive as an Union as a Democratic Country but After 1952, With 26-30% Approx Literacy Rates, Making All the People false, India Survived as a Democratic Country and Managed to conduct free and fair Election. Whole World was Dumbstrucked that How did this happen!! This article will define three things on - Can Hindi become National Language of India. Possibility ? Need ? Solution?
Possibility:
There are possibilities that we can impose a Language on each and every citizen of india overnight by passing a simple law in the Parliament with majority but survival of that Law in a Democratic Manner is not that easy.
First of all, This will create Separatists movement in several parts of South, West and Northeast India where Most of the people don't use Hindi as their First Language. For them, Hindi is a Language of Northern India which really it is and their Regional Or Provincial Language is more Important and they are Emotionally attached with their mother tongue. As we know that all the States in India are divided on the Lingo Basis and Any Imposition of Single Language or Making one national Language will create a Turmoil in country. Huge chances of Disintegration of India is possible, Thats why Our Leaders are not interested in this. Second thing is Many South and North Indian MPs can Lift their support for Union government which can lead to collapse of Union Government and Imposition of President Rule.
We have already seen so many Anti Hindi  Agitations in South India and we can take a Good lesson from that. So, There are possibilities but Along with huge risk. Risk included from Violent Protests to Disintegration of India. People Argue that If China and Russia can have their national Language, Why we couldn't have ?
Answer is simple that We are a Democratic Country and we cannot survive ourselves by killing millions of people like China and Russia is a federation and it doesn't has any National Language, It has official language  Russian and 22 Co - Official Language.
Both China and Russia do not has such Linguistic, Ethnic and Cultural Diversity, So We cannot even think about this if we really want to see India as an Union of States with Democratic Values.
So Possibilities should be considered zero to five percent because Any Step towards this Direction poses a huge threat to the country directly which cannot be considered for Sentiments of few people and their demand.

Need ??
India in this whole world is known for its democracy, Pluralism and Unity with Diversity and Making Hindi National Language will Exploit two of these three Terms. People need to Look at this with Every Dimensions not just Sentimental. Neither Hindi is a Pan India Language, nor it has cultural connection with Indian culture or History. Ancient India had Pali, Sanskrit and Prakrit as most preferred or important Languages.
Only 41% Of Indians have Hindi as their First Language. Every State has its distinct languages to give importance to Each and Every Scheduled Indian Languages. Hindi is a Language of North India, And even if Most of the Indians Understand Hindi, many are still present in South, West and Northeast India who cannot read Written Hindi and their numbers are in Millions. Making a Language National Belonging to North India would pretend like Giving other languages less importance which will again create problems and There is no need to make Hindi National Language of India. With current system, Everyone is satisfied and Things are going well. Taking huge risks for just a language is not a good idea. Even, Hindi is Compulsory in almost every states up to class 8th for better communication but People as English, Try to Neglect this that increases their problems in basic Understanding of Hindi in future. Hindi awareness camps or Hindi Promotion camps can be organized to make people more interested in Hindi. If Hindi is most spoken language in India, then India is also on Rank Second after USA in most number of English Speakers. So There is no need making Hindi National Language but There is a need of Basic Hindi Learning which can be managed by State Governments. So In Need, We can say there is no need to make a single language our national language as it will create again a lot of problems in country and For communication, we can give Learning to Everyone. One additional problem is Extinction of Regional and Ethnic Language which is currently absent in India but Imposition of single language will bring this term in India also. Many Languages got extinct after introduction of New Languages and That's why people of India are connected with their language Emotionally and They will never allow their Languages to be extinct because of Hindi. Such example has been seen in Manipur where Hindi Movies and Songs were ban because of fear of destruction of local Language and Songs. Many more examples can be easily find. Country known for its diversity cannot allow its diversity to be destroyed because of imposition of oneness to everyone.

Solution ??
We all know that most of the leaders are not in favor of making Hindi National Language of India, but If few People still believes that It will be better to make Hindi - National Language. Then It will be a great idea to launch a state wise survey to check the public opinion on this. If we get, 90%+ Numbers(which is practically not possible) in every state of India( Not as a whole), Then Congratulations, India can adopt a National Language without facing major problems. But if We don't touch good numbers which we really will never, Then We should forget about this and live in our great Country respecting our Pluralism, Diversity and Democratic Values.
One of my Friends made me to write this article over his demand of making Hindi National Language which we don't need because its already our official language.
Hindi can be made our National Language only if Every Language is made National which is not possible.
