Do Sentiments overweigh National Interests ?

In a country like india, Political Diversity is an opportunity for people as well as problem of country's development. Apart from that, Cultural, Ethnic, Linguistic etc diversity are another problems which create a lot of Sentiments in the heart and Mind of people and latter on, It drags the National and Local Politics towards it. Much of the people argue that Politics in India don't let india to be developed like Western Nations but the one of the main reasons of Underdevelopment is Sentiment. People are not getting educated properly and leaders from Different Political Affiliation using Sentiments of the people and Under this Sentimental Gameplay, Development get totally hampered. Problems with people are that people are very much Emotional and Leaders easily Persuade them to vote on Sentimental issues instead of development. There is one way of development of india is sacrifice of Ethnic, Religious, Linguistic, Racial, Caste, Creed, Gender, Cultural Sentiments because our Sentiments are getting misused easily. This can be termed as "Planned Exploitation of Sentiments of Indian People".

Today, Leaders play words war with their critics on the Sentimental issues, But when people of india will become more aware, Their first and last demand will be development and a war of development between parties and government will be started and People of india will be benefited. Today, when we are rising at the growth rate of 7% per Year in GDP (Nominal) Terms, There are many issues in india which cannot be solved without sacrifice of Sentiments over national interest. From Foreign Policy to Law and order, Everything in India is connected to Sentiments of population and Political Interests of Parties which is also indirectly connected to Sentiments. We also have to take care of Sentiments of Population but to a limited extent because Any Hindering of Development on the Sentimental Ground will be worst scenario for any country in 21st Century and when we are fighting a position war with China over dominance of South  Asian Regional Power. People should be aware and think for the national Interest. This will be best for whole country. We have to develop ourselves and grow with taking care of our Pluralism, Diversity, Secularism and Democratic Values.
