Showing its prowess of shipbuilding mastery the Russian navy has commissioned new corvette named the Sovershenny.
The corvette which can perform the tasks of defending the coastal of the country and at the same time provide firepower support to the navy at a long distances are a potent weapons with promising strength and power that can be pledged far from the homeland.
However the ship Sovershenny is also a potent ship with stealth features due to its hull design and the use of radar absorbent fibre class during its construction. The corvette is said to have possesing long range anti ship missiles that can eliminate the targets at a distance of 240 km. The Kh=35 anti ship missile which carries a deadly 145kg fragmentation warhead which can blow up any destroyer up to date. Eight of these missiles are onboard the ship.
along with this it also comes with a deadly air defence systems from the russian inventory, Redut air defence system which can engage upto 150km far, and a A190 100mm gun and the packet NK 330 mm torpedo launchers.
it also has a state of the art electronic warfare suit and control system with satellite communication gear along with a ka 27 multirole chopper with it.
