To assertain the sovereignity over the Island Mavulis the Philiphines armed men have crossed to the Northern most island which is also inhabitated, and rehoisted their national flag atop the hill indicating that the island belonged to them.
The Island Mavulis is nearer to the Taiwan than the Philiphine islets chain. however the flag was hoisted in May 2nd 2016 for the first time. but the Typhoon in the same year left the Flag pole severely damaged, and since then now the armed soldiers and a team of the 22 researcers from the department of science and technology joined the team.
