The UN's International day against the drug abuse organized by the TNLA the non state actor regime fighting the mayanmar government ended in the arrest of three jounalists who were covering it, on the charges of possible links of them with the terrorists activities.
The TNLA is one of the 20 militias that are fighting the Mayanmar government and also making unrest in the north eastern indian states. along with three detainees four other unidentified people were detained in connection with the terrorist organisation.
The Mayanmar witenessed the dictatorship until the 2011 and after that the power was transited to the civilian rule. The country is also home for the worlds longest and one of the complex civil wars being fought. Though there were strict ban on the national media it was lifted in the year 2012, by the Mayanmar media was kept under the strick rules and the laws.
The international jounal forums and the Mayanmar journal forum have expressed their concern over the arrest of the jounalists. The journalists will be handed over to the Police forces, it was said that if they are found guilty they will face the sentence of three years of the treason.
