In an expected move towards alienating the military commanders from the Nations politics, Myanmar Generals are now in the row of being prosecuted by the UN for the genocide committed against the Muslims of Rakhine state.

United Nations (UN)-appointed investigators have called for Myanmar's top military generals, including Commander in Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, to be "investigated and prosecuted for genocide [against Muslim Rohingya] in the north of Rakhine State, as well as for crimes against humanity and war crimes in Rakhine, Kachin and Shan states".
The UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar, which was established by the UN Human Rights Council in March 2017, released a report on 27 August stating that it had found patterns of "gross human rights violations and abuses" committed in these states that "undoubtedly amount to the gravest crimes under international law", principally by Myanmar's military, the Tatmadaw, but also by other security forces, according to a UN press statement.

However, it is worth to note that Rohingyas crisis was a fallout of the ISIS where Muslims majority in the region indulged in the slaughtering of the Hindus and also had attacked the armed forces with small arms.  It was actually an armed terrorist uprising against the forces of the Myanmar state popularly supported by the radicalized local Muslim population.  When the tables turned and military interfered the armed militants fled the zone living the people who supported them when the Myanmar army was in streak people feared and abandoned Myanmar and entered the Bangladesh and India where still they pose a threat to the respective countries.

UN has not mentioned the genocide of the Hindu minorities in the region and also is in complete ignorance of the terrorist role of the Rohingya.  Instead of appraising the generals for taking stiff action which would have caused instability in the region with another ISIS UN is committing another mistake of Bangladesh genocide which completely went unnoticed by the UN under the nose of the American supremacy.
