Indian military in recent days is almost classifying all its activities. especially those news which was coming as an hype during 2004 to 2014 are now almost coming after the successful completion.
Yes today the chinese and the russians are the two nations which has their military operatrions and the miltary projects to keep secret. but nowadays a third nation is almost trying to come this way. it is the india. Before 2004 there was hype about the operations such as landing of aircraft in farword bases and deployments of military. these hype was just an hype because these news are released before the actual actions to happen. but after the new prime minister took the office this things are changing. much of the military news are coming after the completion of the actions.
In Mumbai attack case there was hype inl media and pakistan escaped the attack by bringing in the international pressure. but during Uri crisis the situation was different. The indian military had took the pakistan by surprise in first ever such limited war strikes. though in previous scenarios there was such ambushes but they were conducted under the theatre level. but this time it was conducting in the national interest.
The indian military confirmed the attacks only after confirming that no casualities were reported. after pulling back every soldier from the enemy land.
when coming to the military projectss case there are number of incidents that the modi government just taking them to undercover. To say the tejas plan. when the indian airforce come to the edge of cancelling the tejas project. the govt just noded to the IAF and put the tejas on back burner. but after completion of the trials the tejas now is in loc 2 certificate. while the mark 1a is about to begin the mark 2 is ready to get approval with amca. it is also said from close sources that the entire budget for the development of the military projects is now almost taken off from the defence ministry and now is directly allocated by the pmo. the pmo is also responsible for the supervision of the military projects under taken by the drdo.
the number of the military vessels and projects were cleared and launched with out any celebration and the nirbahay cruise missile is famed as a failure and is about to put in the back burner? No the modi govt just puts it undercover. and this missile will come into light when the trials are completed and it is ready for induction. And the russian 2.5k range club missile will also be equipped with the indian armed forces as an alternative.

It is a bad time for the indian enemies, the army is in the loose to engage the enemy on detection of voilation of peace. the forces are given free hand to engage them in eithers territory. the indian projects now will come after success. meaning the armed forces will have adequate equipment either indigenious or imported.
after all indian military now wants a quick and quite transformation to keep the enemies expecting the surprise of new weapons and tactics.
